Heavy-duty moss removal for offshore rigs and port facilities

Atlanticdemoussage keeps steel structures clear of marine growth and corrosion across Malaysian waters. Our crews work with high-pressure industrial hoses and anti-corrosion treatments designed for the harsh conditions of open-sea platforms and busy terminals. We assess each structure, remove the buildup, and protect the surface so your assets stay operational longer. Learn about our marine maintenance approach or read why standard cleaning fails on rigs.

Two Decades of Marine Maintenance

Since 2004, Atlanticdemoussage has built a track record across Malaysian offshore fields and port terminals. The timeline below marks the milestones that shaped our approach to heavy-duty cleaning and anti-corrosion moss removal.

2004 – First Rig Contract

Our crew began with a single offshore platform in the South China Sea, stripping years of moss and barnacle buildup from leg structures. That first contract set the standard for the high-pressure hydroblasting work we still run today.

2009 – Port Terminal Expansion

We moved into corporate port facilities, taking on pier supports and loading equipment along the Strait of Malacca. This period taught us how to schedule cleaning around active cargo operations without shutting down berths.

2014 – Anti-Corrosion Coating Division

Cleaning alone was not enough. We added protective coating crews to seal steel surfaces after moss removal, cutting the frequency of repeat biofouling on rig decks and jetty piles.

2018 – Deepwater Capability

With new pump systems and extended hose lengths, we began servicing deeper offshore structures. Our teams now reach sections of rigs that previously required dry-dock work.

2022 – Nationwide Coverage

From our base in Putrajaya, we now coordinate crews for sites across Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. Response time for emergency moss and corrosion issues dropped to under 48 hours.

2025 – Certification Renewal

Our operators completed the latest round of industrial safety and environmental compliance training, keeping every hydroblasting job aligned with current marine maintenance regulations.
