Onboarding: From First Call to Active Site Work

Before crews mobilize to a rig or port facility, we walk through a structured onboarding sequence. You will know exactly what documentation to prepare, how site access is arranged, and what safety checks happen before any high-pressure work begins.

From First Call to Completed Rig

Every engagement follows the same sequence: we inspect the structure, agree on the scope, then move crews and equipment into position. No surprises, no vague timelines.

Site Survey and Risk Review

We start with a physical inspection of the rig or port facility. Our team maps moss density, corrosion zones, and access points. You receive a written condition report before any work begins.

Scope and Schedule Agreement

Based on the survey, we define the exact cleaning area, the pressure levels required, and the crew size. You approve the plan and the working window. Nothing is added later without written consent.

Crew and Equipment Mobilization

Our hydroblasting units, hoses, and safety gear are transported to your site. The team runs a pre-work check on all equipment and confirms the exclusion zone with your site supervisor.

Cleaning and Corrosion Treatment

High-pressure water jets remove moss, barnacles, and rust scale down to bare steel. We apply anti-corrosion treatment immediately after cleaning to prevent flash rusting in humid marine air.

Inspection and Handover

You walk the cleaned areas with our lead technician. We document the results with photos and a completion report. If any spot does not meet the agreed standard, we return and redo it.

Follow-Up Maintenance Plan

After handover, we provide a recommended re-treatment schedule based on your location and exposure. Many clients book the next cycle before we leave the site. See support for scheduling details.

Support channels and response times

How to reach the maintenance desk

Direct line · Phone

Call the operations desk

For urgent rig or port issues, phone support is answered during working hours, 08:00 to 18:00 MYT. Leave a message outside these hours and the duty engineer returns the call within one hour.

Written request · Email

Send a service request

Email info@atlanticdemoussage.com with the site name, structure type, and a short description of the moss or corrosion condition. The team confirms receipt within four working hours and schedules a site assessment.

Site visit · On-location

Arrange an inspection

For large port facilities or offshore platforms, an engineer can visit the site to measure the affected area and check access conditions. Site visits are booked at least three working days ahead.

Response target · SLA

Standard response times

Routine inquiries get a first reply within one working day. Urgent structural concerns are escalated to the senior maintenance team and receive a response within four hours during working hours.

Documentation · Report

Get a written condition report

After the initial assessment, the team sends a written report covering the affected surfaces, recommended cleaning method, and estimated duration. Reports are delivered within two working days after the visit.

Follow-up · FAQ

Common questions answered

Before contacting the desk, check the FAQ page for details on equipment access, weather constraints, and what to prepare for a first consultation. Most operational questions are covered there.
